Can I order each cookie a la carte or choose a mix of flavors? There is minimum of 1 dozen cookies (12) per flavor. However, we also offer a la carte cookies that you can add to your gift box. You can fill your box with up to 30 cookies. This way you can choose a couple extra flavors you may also want to try after purchasing your initial dozen.
We also offer our signature gift boxes, which highlight a hand-selected variety of our best cookies. For our biggest cookie enthusiast, we also offer our Omakase Box where you put your trust in us to pick out our favorites any new cookie creation we have concocted.
Where is my invoice? All orders are confirmed with an email invoice; however, if you would like one included, please let us know.

My shipping address is different on PayPal. We will use the shipping address provided on the BFS website rather than the shipping address confirmed on PayPal. If you have any worries, email us at info@batchfromscratch and we will confirm that we have your correct shipping address. You can also sign into your account on batchfromscratch.com.
How long will my order take to arrive? Yes, we offer delivery throughout CA and nationwide. Unfortunately, we do not offer international shipping.
CA Shipping: Our standard CA shipping courier is SoCal Overnight. With SoCal Overnight, the package will require the recipient’s signature unless otherwise noted in the comments section “no signature is required”. All CA deliveries are shipped out Monday – Thursday.
Nationwide Shipping: Our standard nationwide shipping method is USPS Priority Mail, which generally takes 2-3 business days; however, an exact delivery date is not guaranteed and tracking information for Priority Mail is not available. Priority Mail is generally delivered separately from regular mail, and will require the recipient’s signature unless otherwise noted in the comments section “no signature is required”. All nationwide deliveries are shipped out Monday – Wednesday to ensure that the packages are not held over through the weekend.
(Our couriers will not assume responsibility if the package is not received by the intended party upon any signature release).
We use USPS Priority Mail to keep our shipping costs low for our customers, but if you require a specific delivery date or tracking information, we offer UPS overnight or 2nd day as your shipping option.

Is the arrival date guaranteed? While most packages selected for SoCal Overnight & UPS shipment are most likely to arrive on the estimated delivery date, unforeseen natural or un-natural conditions may cause delays. Batch From Scratch, SoCal Overnight and USPS cannot be held responsible for these so-called events of force majeure (including, but not limited to weather, earthquakes…etc). We try to control everything, but some things are just out of our hands!
Will you use our shipping account? Yes, we can use your UPS shipping account information and will charge you a handling fee.
What if the packaged never arrived? Our orders are directly processed from your order form. If you provided an incorrect address or it is refused by the recipient or returned to us in any event, we will notify you via email. You will have the option to purchase a second package at a reduced price. If the shipping error was made on our end, we will issue a refund or send out a second package at your request.
Our Cookies
What’s the shelf life of my cookies? All of our cookies are made without any artificial preservatives, so they are best eaten they are received. However, they will stay fresh for 5 days in its packaging or in zip bag.
How are the cookies packaged? To ensure freshness, each of our cookies are individually packaged as soon as they are cooled from the oven. Then they are packaged cushioned in tissue paper to protect them during shipping. All your cookies will arrive in our signature premium Batch From Scratch boxes finished with a luxurious satin white ribbon.
What if I have allergies? All our products, even if they do not include nuts, are prepared with shared equipment and tools that may be in contact with and have traces of wheat (gluten), milk, eggs, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, seeds, and chocolate.
Who and where do you do your baking? Esther has handcrafted all the recipes and oversees all the baking out of our licensed commercial kitchen in Los Angeles, CA.
Do you have a store I can go to? We do not have a storefront (yet!), but we sell at various retail locations throughout Los Angeles. Stay tuned for more updates.

Design & Photography
Who designs all your packaging and design work? Esther comes up with the packaging and works closely with our talented graphic designer Connie Chung to produce labels and the design of company materials, including our logo.
Who does the photography? Our lovely photographer and friend Caroline Tran has taken all the photos on the website, with the exception of the ice cream scoop photo on the home page (Jeremy Cortez) and various photos on the gallery.
